Synopsis

Review of construction documents, and performance of construction monitoring services for new construction of a refrigerated warehouse/distribution building with a 2-story office portion in an industrial park in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.

Construction consists of continuous perimeter footings and foundation walls supporting precast‑concrete wall panels. Interior spread-footing foundations will support structural steel columns, girders, and bar joists, and a metal roof deck. The roofing system consists of a mechanically fastened TPO membrane with varying thicknesses of rigid insulation and a small section of “green roof”.
