Mark Twain Hotel

Historic preservation and renovation of a 5-story apartment building with a basement, originally built ca. 1929. A total of 151 single-room-occupancy  dwelling units were renovated into 148 units. Building amenities include a parlor, laundry room, public toilet room, management office, common kitchen, roof deck, and a manned front desk.

Indianapolis, Indiana

Bottleworks Hotel

Historic preservation and renovation of a 2-story building originally constructed for the Coca Cola Company in 1930, with additions in 1940 and 1946.  The building was adapted for service as a hotel with 138 guestrooms, a restaurant and bar, meeting spaces, a large conference room, a fitness center, and back-of-house offices and service areas. Commercial/ retail space is provided at the 1st floor.

St. Bernard’s Park

Historic preservation and moderate renovation of a multi-building former seminary complex, previously adaptively reused and renovated into affordable senior apartments with 160 units.

Toledo, Ohio

Fort Industry Square

Adaptive re-use and gut rehabilitation of existing historic office buildings, consisting of ten 4- and 5-story connected structures reportedly built at various times in the 19th century.  Renovation provides 87 residential apartments, as well as commercial tenant space at portions of the basement and 1st and 2nd floors.

Adaptive re-use and substantial renovation of the former Hebrew Home for the Aged in the Petworth neighborhood of northwest Washington, DC.
